Role Description
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist (Google Ads & SEO) to drive Wootap's growth through paid and organic search.
In this role, you will own our Google Ads campaigns end to end, from creation and planning to management and reporting. You will also lead our SEO strategy and work to improve Wootap's positioning in the SERP. On top of that, you will manage our tracking setup so that every result can be measured.
You will work closely with Marketing and Product, turning data into concrete actions.
This is a performance-driven role: beyond the responsibilities listed below, your main objective is to deliver measurable results in user acquisition, conversions, organic visibility and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
Google Ads
Create, plan and launch Google Ads campaigns (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube) targeting both candidates and employers
Manage and optimise campaigns on an ongoing basis: budgets, bidding strategies, keywords, audiences and ad copy
Run A/B tests on ads and landing pages to improve conversion rates
Monitor key KPIs such as CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rate and ROAS
SEO & SERP
Define and execute the SEO strategy: keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO and content guidelines
Monitor and improve Wootap's positioning in the SERP, including rich results and featured snippets
Work with the content team to make sure content is optimised for search
Tracking & Analytics
Set up and maintain tracking with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
Configure and monitor conversion events, goals and funnels
Make sure data is accurate and consistent across all channels
Reporting
Prepare regular performance reports covering paid and organic search
Share clear insights and actionable recommendations with the team
Qualifications
Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns, with a track record of measurable results
Solid knowledge of SEO (on-page, technical and content)
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs or similar
Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse performance and turn data into decisions
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Clear communication skills, including with non-technical colleagues
Experience in startups, marketplaces or digital products is a plus
Google Ads certification is a plus
