Sustainability Intern

Job Description
The Sustainability intern's key responsibilities and opportunities:
Work under the guidance of the Energy Lead and collaborate with energy, utilities and facilities teams
Gain hands-on experience in sustainability and energy management within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Support energy-efficiency and cost-transformation projects, from opportunity analysis through implementation and results validation
Analyse energy data, performance indicators and utility costs to identify improvement opportunities, risks and practical actions
Support energy audits, monitoring systems, budgets and clear progress reporting to stakeholders
Coordinate energy projects with operations to deliver improvements safely, on schedule and with minimal impact to manufacturing
Promote energy awareness and contribute fresh ideas and perspectives that strengthen site sustainability and productivity
Develop competencies in energy conservation, trend and data analysis, engineering fundamentals, project management, root cause analysis (RCA), risk-based decision-making, safety and quality standards
