Role Description This full-time, on-site Sap Materials Management Consultant role is based in Pune City. The consultant will configure, support, and optimize SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) and related SAP Warehouse Management functionalities for the company’s manufacturing and supply chain operations. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business processes, mapping requirements to SAP solutions, managing material master data, and ensuring accurate procurement, inventory, and warehouse transactions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing functional specifications, coordinating with technical teams for enhancements, and performing unit and integration testing. The consultant will also provide end-user training, create process documentation, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend continuous improvements aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
Strong SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) and Materials Management skills for procurement, inventory, and material master data.
Experience with SAP Warehouse Management for warehouse processes, stock movements, and storage strategies.
Solid understanding of Business Processes in manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics environments.
Analytical skills to interpret data, diagnose process gaps, and propose effective SAP-based solutions.
Prior experience in SAP implementation, support, or rollout projects in an industrial or machinery setting.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, document requirements, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; SAP MM certification is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with integration to other SAP modules (such as SD, PP, or FI) is beneficial.
Capacity to work on-site in Pune City, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs.
