Role Description The Information Technology Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Alwar, responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, providing technical support to users, and managing local networks and connected devices. The role involves monitoring network performance, implementing security measures, and ensuring systems are updated, backed up, and compliant with company policies. The engineer will collaborate with operations and management teams to support production systems, improve IT processes, and assist in the deployment of new technologies.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology, including operating systems, hardware, and software administration.
Hands-on Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for desktops, laptops, printers, and business applications.
Experience with Networking, including configuration and maintenance of switches, routers, and basic cabling.
Knowledge of Network Security principles, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and user access controls.
Ability to document IT procedures, track incidents, and maintain asset inventories.
Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
