Founding Technical Member (Full Stack)

Consumer business, home services. 30 people. Just raised. The product has to scale faster than the business around it, and right now it’s held together by a small team and a lot of late nights. We need another builder.
The job
You build the product and the systems the company runs on.
That means the app parents use, the tools our field team relies on every day, and the plumbing in between: payments, WhatsApp flows, scheduling, dashboards, whatever is breaking this week.
Speed matters more than anything else in this role. When something needs building, you figure out what’s required, make the call, and ship it, usually within days. Nobody will hand you a spec or sign off on every step. You’ll fill in the gaps yourself and fix things as you learn.
You’ll work directly with the founders, sit in on ops calls, and occasionally go out in the field to watch people use what you shipped. The best fixes here come from seeing the problem firsthand.
You’ll do well here if
You ship fast and figure things out along the way. You’d rather put something live and improve it than wait for perfect requirements.
You’ve shipped production software that real people used and complained about. Bonus if you were the one fixing it at 11pm.
You’re 2 to 5 years in, ideally with time at an early-stage startup or something you built yourself.
You’re comfortable across the stack. You don’t need to be an expert at everything, but you can pick up whatever the problem needs.
You use AI tools heavily and know where they help and where they quietly break things.
You care about why a feature exists before you write it, and you’ll push back when it shouldn’t.
Hindi or Kannada is a plus. A lot of our users don’t use English as their first language.
This may not be the right fit if
You prefer to wait for a clear spec or approval before you start building.
You want to work only on clean, greenfield code. Some of what you’ll touch is messy, and some of the mess will be yours.
You need a large team around you to be productive.
The next 12 months of cash is the main thing you’re optimising for.
