Machine Learning Engineer Intern

The role
You will work on real ML and software engineering tasks across different stages of the ML lifecycle - not toy problems. Depending on your background, you may focus on data processing, model development, or supporting deployment workflows.
What you'll do
Support development, training, and evaluation of machine learning models
Work with data pipelines, experiments, and model iterations
Help integrate ML models into larger software systems
Take ownership of well-scoped tasks and drive them to completion
Document your work and share learnings with the team
What you bring
Enrolled in or recently completed BSc/MSc in Computer Science, ML, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
Solid Python fundamentals
Understanding of core ML concepts: classification, regression, model evaluation
Familiarity with generative AI concepts (Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI API, or similar)
Motivated to work independently on defined tasks
Fluent English (German is a plus)
Nice to have
Hands-on experience building ML models outside of coursework
Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
