Role Description This is a contract, remote First Aid Instructor role responsible for delivering clear, effective first aid training to diverse groups of learners. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans and training materials, conducting live virtual or hybrid training sessions, and demonstrating first aid techniques in accordance with current guidelines and organizational standards. The instructor will assess learner understanding through questions, scenarios, and practical demonstrations, providing constructive feedback to support skill development. The role also involves maintaining accurate training records, staying up to date with first aid protocols, and collaborating with the training team to continuously improve course content and learner experience.
Qualifications
Strong First Aid and First Aid Training skills, with up-to-date certification from a recognized body.
Demonstrated experience in Training and Teaching, particularly in skills-based or safety-related subjects.
Excellent Communication abilities, including the capacity to explain technical concepts in a clear, accessible way.
Comfort with remote delivery tools and basic digital literacy to run online or blended training sessions.
Ability to engage learners of varied backgrounds and experience levels, using inclusive and supportive teaching methods.
Attention to detail and adherence to relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Prior experience as a first aid instructor or in an emergency response, healthcare, or safety role is beneficial.
Relevant training or education qualification (e.g., instructor certification, teaching qualification, or adult education training) is an advantage.
