Role Description The Script Writer will be responsible for developing clear, engaging, and historically accurate scripts for video content and related media. This full-time, on-site role is based in Sheikhpura and involves collaborating with researchers, producers, and video editors to translate concepts into compelling narratives. Day-to-day tasks include outlining episodes, drafting and revising scripts, ensuring consistency of tone and style, and adapting content for different formats and platforms. The Script Writer will also fact-check historical information, contribute creative ideas to content planning meetings, and ensure scripts are delivered within agreed timelines. The role requires close coordination with the production team to align scripts with visual storytelling, pacing, and audience expectations.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Scriptwriting and Scripting for video and narrative content.
Experience developing Screenplays or structured narrative formats for visual media.
Understanding of Video Production workflows and the ability to align scripts with visual and audio elements.
Excellent Writing skills, including grammar, clarity, and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
Ability to conduct thorough research on historical and cultural topics and present information accurately.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Comfort working on-site in Sheikhpura and coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Literature, History, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in educational or documentary-style content creation is an advantage.
