Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Residential Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru North. The Interior Designer will focus on planning and designing residential spaces, including developing layouts, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) in line with client requirements and brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients to understand lifestyle needs and budgets, preparing design concepts and mood boards, producing detailed drawings and specifications, and collaborating with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality execution. The role also involves site visits for measurements, progress checks, and quality control, as well as coordinating with project managers and sales teams to deliver a seamless client experience. The Interior Designer will be expected to manage multiple projects, adhere to timelines, and maintain accurate documentation and design records.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to translate client needs into functional and aesthetic residential spaces.
Candidates should possess Space Planning expertise, including zoning, circulation, ergonomics, and optimal use of available square footage.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings for on-site execution.
Candidates should possess FF&E capabilities, including selection and coordination of furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials, finishes, and accessories.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with residential projects and familiarity with budgets, timelines, and project coordination.
Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) and basic MS Office skills.
Strong client communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to visit sites regularly in Bengaluru North.
