Investment Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Investment Director based in the United States.
As Investment Director, you will lead strategic investment initiatives focused on identifying and accelerating high-potential businesses across Africa. You will oversee the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing promising companies and evaluating commercial opportunities to conducting due diligence, structuring transactions, and managing deal execution. Working closely with founders, executive teams, and senior stakeholders, you will assess business models, growth potential, and strategic opportunities across agriculture, insurance, financial services, and technology. You will also help develop the systems and processes needed to support portfolio companies as they scale. This hands-on leadership role combines investment expertise, entrepreneurial thinking, and commercial judgment in a fast-moving, impact-driven environment. It offers the opportunity to shape investment strategy while contributing to business growth and financial inclusion across emerging markets.
