Product Designer - Intern

we’re looking for a product design intern to work on live client projects across web & mobile apps.
you’ll sit close to founders & engineers, so your work ships fast & gets real feedback.
you’ll design real products for real founders, from the first flow to the final pixel.
what you'll do:
Flows & wireframes: turn messy briefs into clear user flows & screens
UI design: craft polished interfaces with sharp type, spacing, & detail
Design systems: build & maintain reusable components in Figma
Prototyping: make interactions feel right before they reach engineering
Collaboration: work directly with founders, developers, & the team
what you bring
Strong fundamentals: typography, layout, spacing, hierarchy, & a clear grasp of how people move through a product
Hands-on projects: 2 or 3 pieces (case studies, redesigns, side projects) you can walk us through, including what went wrong
Problem-solving: you start from the user’s problem & can explain why your design is the answer
AI in your workflow: you use it to research, explore, & skip the busywork, then apply your own judgment
Independent thinking: you take a vague brief, make decisions, & ask for feedback early
Proof over paper: no degree or certificates needed. we care about what you’ve built & how you think
nice to have:
Experience designing for mobile apps or SaaS dashboards
Basic motion or prototyping skills
You can build simple pages or prototypes in code
