Head of Operations

We are hiring for is a premium gifting and Indian sweets brand focused on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end operations, streamline processes, ensure operational excellence, and support the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Operations Management
Oversee daily operations across retail outlets, production units, warehousing, and distribution.
Ensure seamless coordination between production, procurement, sales, logistics, and store teams.
Develop and implement SOPs to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
2. Retail & Store Operations
Manage store performance, manpower planning, inventory, and customer service standards.
Ensure adherence to brand standards, operational policies, and service quality.
Monitor sales, wastage, stock movement, and operating costs.
3. Production & Supply Chain
Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of products.
Manage procurement, vendor relationships, inventory planning, and distribution.
Ensure product quality, packaging standards, hygiene, and food safety compliance.
4. Team Management
Lead, train, and monitor operations teams across locations.
Establish performance metrics and drive accountability.
Ensure adequate staffing, productivity, and effective interdepartmental coordination.
5. Cost Control & Process Improvement
Monitor operational expenses, wastage, and resource utilization.
Identify process gaps and implement cost-effective solutions.
Prepare operational reports, track KPIs, and provide regular performance updates to management.
6. Customer Experience & Compliance
Ensure timely order fulfilment for retail, corporate gifting, and online orders.
Resolve operational escalations and customer complaints.
Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, hygiene, and statutory requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 6+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in premium retail, FMCG, food, sweets, bakery, or gifting businesses.
Experience managing multiple outlets, teams, inventory, and supply chain operations.
Strong understanding of procurement, vendor management, production coordination, and cost control.
Proven ability to implement SOPs, monitor KPIs, and improve operational efficiency.
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and operational reporting tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business environment.
Preferred: Experience with premium Indian sweets, confectionery, gourmet food, or corporate gifting brands.
