Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SAP Basis role located in Vasai. The SAP Basis professional will be responsible for day-to-day system administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP environments. The role involves managing system performance, performing backups and restores, applying patches and upgrades, and ensuring high availability and security of SAP systems. The individual will troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate with functional and technical teams, and support end users with system-related queries. The role also includes working with database administrators, participating in projects and system migrations, and documenting procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Basis Administration and SAP Basis skills for managing and maintaining SAP systems.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve system and performance issues.
Candidates should possess Consulting abilities to collaborate with stakeholders, understand requirements, and recommend technical solutions.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Databases and related tools to support SAP system operations and performance optimization.
Relevant experience with SAP system installs, upgrades, patches, and transports.
Understanding of operating systems (such as Linux/Unix/Windows) and networking fundamentals.
Ability to document technical procedures and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in an SAP Basis role or similar system administration position is preferred.
