Role Description The Purchase Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities to support production and operations for the radiator division. This full-time, on-site role is based in Prayagraj and involves processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, components, and services. The role includes evaluating supplier quotations, supporting contract negotiations, monitoring vendor performance, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. The Purchase Officer will coordinate closely with production, quality, stores, and finance teams to align procurement with project timelines and budget requirements. Regular tasks also include analyzing pricing and delivery trends, maintaining compliance with company policies, and contributing to cost optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Experience with contract negotiation and supplier management, with the ability to secure favorable terms.
Solid analytical skills to compare quotations, evaluate cost-effectiveness, and support data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in procurement or materials management, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industries.
Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a focus on compliance and documentation accuracy.
