For one of my customer we are looking for a BMC Technical Expert to lead the BMC development team.
Duration: 6 months renewable
Location: Europe(100% remote)
Description:
The BMC Helix Technical Expert / Lead will provide senior hands-on technical expertise and leadership during the transition and reversibility phase, supporting the internalisation of BMC Helix ITSM capabilities.
Working closely with the ITSM Architect, GCC Technical Lead and development team, the role will ensure the effective transfer of technical knowledge, documentation, configurations, code and operational capabilities required to achieve full technical autonomy.
The expert will provide technical guidance and hands-on leadership to a team of approximately 5–6 BMC developers, supporting technical decisions, reviewing complex developments and accelerating delivery without replacing the existing internal technical governance.
A key objective will be to strengthen the GCC technical capabilities through structured handover, coaching and practical knowledge transfer, while ensuring continuity and quality throughout the transition.

Profile
10+ years of relevant IT experience, with extensive hands-on BMC Remedy / BMC Helix development expertise.
Proven experience as a BMC Helix Technical Expert, Technical Lead or Lead Developer.
Deep hands-on expertise in BMC Helix ITSM, AR System / Developer Studio and Innovation Studio.
Strong experience with Digital Workplace, Service Catalogue and CMDB.
Strong experience designing and implementing REST API / iPaaS integrations.
Strong knowledge of BMC workflows, approvals, business rules and automation.
Proven ability to lead, mentor and technically challenge experienced developers.
Experience performing technical/code reviews and validating complex solutions.
Experience with development, testing, release and deployment lifecycle.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis capabilities.
Experience in complex, large-scale enterprise environments.
Strong leadership, ownership, autonomy and decision-making capabilities.
Fast learner and execution-oriented, capable of rapidly understanding an existing environment, resolving blockers and delivering results.
Strong English communication and technical documentation skills.
Highly Desirable
Previous technical transition, reversibility or Knowledge Transfer experience.
Experience coaching and developing internal technical teams.
BMC Helix Discovery and Operations Management.
BMC Helix Virtual Agent / AI capabilities.
Helix Data Manager.
Experience with BMC Helix SaaS environments.
Experience with ITSM transformation or legacy BMC modernisation.
