Role Description The LLM Engineer Trainer is a part-time, remote role responsible for designing and delivering training content on large language models (LLMs) and related AI technologies. Day-to-day tasks include developing curriculum and learning materials, creating hands-on projects and code examples, and conducting live or recorded training sessions for learners at various skill levels. The role involves explaining complex concepts clearly, reviewing learner work, providing constructive feedback, and updating content based on advances in LLM research and tooling. The LLM Engineer Trainer will collaborate with the GrowAI Edtech team to ensure that training programs remain practical, up to date, and aligned with industry needs.
Qualifications
Strong applied AI and machine learning skills, including experience with large language models, model fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
Proficiency in programming and data tools such as Python, relevant ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and common LLM libraries or APIs.
Ability to design clear, structured educational content, including curricula, tutorials, and project-based learning materials.
Effective communication and teaching skills, with experience explaining technical topics to diverse audiences in a concise and accessible manner.
Experience working in remote, collaborative environments, with strong time management and self-organization abilities.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, mentor, or technical lead in AI or software engineering is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with current AI industry trends, ethical considerations in AI, and best practices for responsible model deployment.
