We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Talent Sourcer to join our team in Bengaluru and support our recruitment activities through effective sourcing, headhunting, and candidate engagement.
About the Role
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Talent Sourcer with strong experience in headhunting, direct candidate sourcing, and talent mapping. The ideal candidate should be confident approaching passive candidates, identifying high-quality talent through multiple channels, and building strong candidate pipelines across different roles. Headhunting is a mandatory skill for this position. We are looking for someone who can proactively identify and approach suitable candidates rather than relying solely on applicants from job advertisements.
Responsibilities
Conduct proactive headhunting to identify and engage suitable candidates for open positions.
Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn search, job portals, professional networks, databases, and other relevant platforms.
Identify and approach passive candidates who may not be actively looking for new opportunities.
Carry out Boolean searches, talent mapping, market research, and competitor talent searches.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future vacancies.
Review CVs, screen profiles, and assess candidates against job requirements.
Contact candidates through LinkedIn, email, phone calls, and other professional channels.
Engage candidates professionally, explain opportunities, and assess their interest and suitability.
Collect essential candidate information, including salary expectations, notice periods, availability, and location preferences.
Coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and sourcing priorities.
Maintain accurate candidate records, sourcing activity, and follow-up notes in the recruitment system.
Meet daily and weekly sourcing targets while maintaining candidate quality.
Stay updated on recruitment trends, competitor hiring activity, and talent availability in the market.
Qualifications
Previous experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, headhunting, or candidate research.
Mandatory: Hands-on experience in headhunting and approaching passive candidates.
Strong knowledge of LinkedIn sourcing and Boolean search techniques.
Experience using job portals, recruitment databases, and candidate sourcing tools.
Excellent communication, networking, and candidate engagement skills.
Ability to identify suitable profiles against specific job descriptions.
Strong research, organisation, and follow-up skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced recruitment environment.
Confidence in making outbound calls and approaching candidates who have not applied directly.
Good time management and the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
