Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PHP Developer role based in Mumbai. The PHP Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power the company’s payment gateway platform. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient PHP code, implementing object-oriented design, integrating third-party services, and troubleshooting application issues. The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, product teams, and QA to deliver secure, high-performance features and enhancements. The PHP Developer will also participate in code reviews, optimize existing systems, and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development and PHP skills, including building RESTful APIs and integrating databases.
Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills and experience with software architecture and design patterns.
Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for integration and debugging.
Candidates should possess general Software Development and Programming skills, including version control (Git), testing, and debugging.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, performance optimization, and security best practices in web applications.
Familiarity with payment gateways, fintech platforms, or transaction-heavy systems is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Mumbai, communicate clearly, and meet project deadlines.
