Job Spec: Credit Controller
Key responsibilities include:
You will be involved in all aspects of credit control.
Responsible for your own ledger
Dealing with payments from customers
Chasing outstanding debt
Setting up payment terms on the IF (Invoice financing) platform
Checking customers & credit limits on IF platform
Taking and fielding calls regarding payments
Allocation of payments on the finance system
Liaising with IF provider to resolve queries
Liaising regularly with the sales team and other departments
Requirements
Previous experience within a similar role
Good Excel knowledge
Xero/Access experience is preferable
General accounts experience
Strong numerical and communication skills
Comfortable liaising with internal/external stakeholders and senior management
3-5 years of credit control experience
Recruitment Experience is a must (ideally multi-currency and tech recruitment)
Ideally based in Cape Town with 3 days in the office (For exceptional candidates open to remote)
Start Date flexible, but no later than 1st December
