Role Description The Senior Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions that power Wogle Tech’s education platforms. This full-time, on-site role is based in Coimbatore and involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into scalable, secure applications. Daily responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, implementing back-end services and APIs, optimizing system performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to architectural decisions. The role also involves mentoring junior developers, promoting best practices in software development, and participating in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side technologies.
Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and designing maintainable, modular code.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in a senior or lead developer role, including mentoring and technical guidance.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
