SAP Practice Head

Role Overview
We are looking for an SAP Practice Head to build and lead InfoBeans' SAP practice, starting with a 10-member pod and scaling it into a full service line. This role is part of a 10-member, self-contained SAP pod that can advise on, direct, manage and deliver SAP transformation programs end to end: ECC-to-S/4HANA migration (system conversion, new implementation and selective data transition), RISE with SAP, SAP HANA database migration and operations, Basis and technical upgrades, ABAP and Fiori development, and SAP application management. This is a player-coach role: you will own the practice's offerings, pipeline, delivery quality and talent, and stay close enough to the work to shape solutions, lead pursuits and step into critical client conversations yourself. The pod uses AI to speed up transformation work: documenting legacy ABAP, analysing and remediating custom code, and generating and running test scripts, with consultants reviewing and approving every change.
Key Responsibilities
Practice strategy
• Define the SAP practice roadmap and offerings: ECC-to-S/4HANA migration, RISE with SAP, SAP HANA
migration and upgrades, Basis managed services, ABAP and Fiori development, and AMS.
• Position InfoBeans' AI-led modernization approach, including its in-house AI modernization platform
(CodeNova), as a differentiator for faster, lower-risk S/4HANA migrations.
• Own pod and practice revenue, margin, utilization and growth targets, plus capacity planning.
• Build the SAP alliance: SAP PartnerEdge membership, partner certifications, RISE with SAP partner programs and co-selling with SAP and hyperscaler account teams.
Business development and pre-sales
• Lead pursuits end to end: discovery, solution approach, estimation, RFP/RFI responses, orals and commercial models (fixed price, outcome-based, managed services).
• Build CXO relationships (CIO, CFO, COO, IT infrastructure heads) and grow existing InfoBeans accounts into SAP opportunities.
• Run assessments that open deals: S/4HANA readiness, custom-code analysis, RISE with SAP and
infrastructure assessments, and HANA sizing.
Delivery governance
• Govern all pod engagements using SAP Activate, with clear migration, cutover and downtime plans.
• Set quality gates, architecture reviews, risk and escalation management, and client reporting.
• Make AI-augmented delivery standard for code analysis, remediation, documentation and testing, with human review and clear governance.
• Build reusable assets: migration runbooks, Basis automation scripts, custom-code toolkits and test packs.
Talent and capability
• Hire, develop and retain the pod, and plan its growth into a larger practice.
• Run the skills roadmap: S/4HANA, SAP HANA, Basis and RISE with SAP, ABAP on HANA and Fiori
certifications.
• Represent InfoBeans at SAP and industry forums and publish points of view on S/4HANA migration, RISE with SAP and AI-led transformation.
Mandatory Skills
• 16+ years in SAP services, including 5+ years leading an SAP practice, delivery unit or large program.
• Hands-on understanding of ECC and S/4HANA across Basis/HANA, ABAP and functional (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP) design.
• Led at least 3 S/4HANA conversion or new-implementation programs end to end.
• Strong knowledge of RISE with SAP, SAP HANA migration and hyperscaler hosting (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Proven pre-sales record: deals won, deal sizes and the commercial models used.
• P&L, utilization and margin ownership for an SAP team or practice.
• CXO-level stakeholder management and global delivery experience (US, Europe or Middle East).
Nice to Have
• Experience building an SAP practice from a small core team.
• Experience with AI-assisted code analysis, remediation or testing for SAP.
• Industry depth in manufacturing, logistics, BFSI, retail, life sciences or energy.
• SAP partner-program experience (PartnerEdge, RISE with SAP, SAP co-sell).
• Awareness of SAP BTP and SAP Business AI (Joule).
• SAP architect or S/4HANA certification; MBA.
Education
BE/BTech/MCA required. MBA preferred.
