Role Description The Interior Design Intern will support the design team in developing interior concepts, layouts, and material selections for a variety of projects. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards, supporting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications, and coordinating with vendors under supervision. The intern will help create drawings, presentations, and documentation, while participating in client meetings and site visits as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, where the intern will work closely with architects and interior designers to gain hands-on experience throughout the design process.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Interior Design and understanding of design principles.
Ability in Space Planning and basic knowledge of Furniture layout and selection.
Familiarity with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) coordination and material selection.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with clients.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape or similar) and basic graphic presentation tools.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to take feedback constructively.
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines in an on-site studio environment.
