Research Asistan

Role Description The Research Assistant will support the development of educational content by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data related to economic topics and data analysis methods. Day-to-day tasks include conducting literature and web research, identifying relevant datasets and sources, summarizing findings, and preparing clear notes or briefs for content creators. The role also involves assisting with basic data cleaning, simple visualizations, and fact-checking existing materials to ensure accuracy and consistency. The Research Assistant will collaborate with team members via online tools, communicate progress regularly, and meet agreed deadlines. This is a part-time, remote role, offering flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute to a growing educational platform.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in data analysis, including familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and basic statistical concepts.
Ability to conduct structured online research, evaluate sources for credibility, and synthesize information into concise summaries.
Strong written communication skills, with attention to clarity, organization, and detail when preparing notes or reports.
Interest in economics, data literacy, and the use of data to understand trends and real-world issues.
Capacity to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet part-time workload expectations.
Experience with data visualization tools or programming languages (such as R, Python, or SQL) is beneficial but not required.
Current students or graduates in economics, data science, statistics, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
