Senior Mobile Fullstack Engineer

● React + NodeJS
● Rails on legacy
● Postgres, Clickhouse, Redis, OpenSearch
● GCP / GKE, Hetzner bare-metal, AWS, ArgoCD (GitOps), Terraform + Ansible (IaC), GitHub Actions CI/CD
● Mobile (the core of these roles): React Native across Galatea, GalateaTV, CandyJar, HerDrama (iOS + Android from one codebase).
● Web: Next.js / React (galatea.com, candyjar.com, etc.), SSR.
● Backend — not plain Node, we use frameworks:
● Node.js/TypeScript → NestJS (on Fastify) — most of our newer services (payments/subscriptions, content, progress).
● Go — high-throughput APIs & event routing (chi, Fiber).
● Ruby on Rails — legacy core (inkitt.com, editor/CMS).
● Python — ML/AI workflows & recommendations.
● APIs are REST (no significant GraphQL). Eventing via Kinesis; feature flags via Unleash.
For these specific hires (in priority order):
● React Native (incl. iOS/Android release process, performance)
● TypeScript
● Next.js/React
● NestJS (or Node service design)
● Go for the Tech Lead.
Domain advantage: B2C mobile/entertainment/streaming/social apps at scale. (Cloud/K8s/Terraform/AWS is a plus for the Tech Lead but not the focus for ICs.)
experience with AI/LLMs is expected
Bonus: subscription/IAP & payments experience, mobile A/B testing & analytics instrumentation, working with LLM/AI features, high-scale consumer apps.
