Customer Experience Manager - Danish

We’re hiring someone to take over the voice our customers meet. ☀️
For years, Christian (aka Mr. Shade) has answered every Baser customer himself. 7am emails before the school run. Personal videos filmed from the beach, the park, a backyard. Conversations that start with parasols and drift into Lego, Star Wars, or how someone’s week is going.
That’s our kind of service. We talk to customers like a friend’s friend who asked us at a barbecue which parasol to buy, and we help them choose the one that’s right for them. That isn’t always the most expensive one.
Now Christian is ready to hand the daily customer work to someone who shares his instinct for it, so he can focus on product, brand and content.
The role: Customer Experience Manager → Chief of Customer Experience
You’ll own the full inbox with Christian across Denmark, Germany, the UK, Australia and the US. Christian trains you until the voice is yours. That covers pre-sale advice, video consultations, logistics, spare parts, warranty, and day-to-day support for B2B partners like Bauhaus. You’ll take a function that mostly lives in Christian’s head and inbox and turn it into something that scales, using the FAQ library and templates we’ve already drafted.
As we grow, regional peers will join you. The first is an Australia-focused CX manager by mid-2027. You’ll be the senior anchor of that team.
You might be the one if you:
→ Fluent Danish, fluent English (Norwegian or Swedish is a real plus)
→ Light up in conversation and genuinely care about helping customers make the right choice for them
→ Have built SOPs, FAQs or response libraries before, and see chaos as an invitation
→ Use AI daily
→ Are comfortable on camera, in a warm and personal way, not polished
→ Want to master a craft, not just do a job — personally trained by Christian until the voice is yours
→ Want a real seat at the table in a small, founder-led team
The job is remote anywhere in Europe and full-time. Hours are flexible, but the seasonal peaks are real. You’re ON when the season is on and genuinely OFF when it isn’t. Spring/summer 2027 is the big one, with our new website launch and our biggest European season yet.
The application is a little different. Watch Christian’s video, look at a customer’s garden, and record yourself giving them advice on your phone. We don’t care if you pick the “right” parasol. We want to see how you talk and how you’d make someone feel.
