Credit Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Credit Analyst to join our Credit & Risk team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of NBFCs and business borrowers, conducting detailed financial analysis, preparing Credit Assessment Memorandums (CAMs), and supporting informed lending decisions.
The successful candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, a sound understanding of financial statements, and knowledge of lending and risk assessment practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in wholesale and institutional credit underwriting
Key Responsibilities
Ÿ Conduct financial statement and credit analysis.
Ÿ Prepare CAMs and credit recommendations.
Ÿ Assess borrower risk and repayment capacity.
Ÿ Perform ratio analysis, balance sheet analysis, and industry research.
Ÿ Monitor existing credit exposures and identify early warning signals.
Ÿ Coordinate with internal teams and customers for credit evaluation.
Ÿ Prepare MIS, credit reports, and management presentations.
Ÿ Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
· Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
· 1-3 years of experience in Credit Analysis, Underwriting, Banking, NBFC, or Fintech.
· Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and credit assessment.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
· Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
