This role is responsible for conducting AI research, developing experimental models, evaluating emerging methodologies, and translating research findings into practical applications. ### 🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Conduct research into artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and emerging AI technologies.
* Design, develop, and evaluate AI models, algorithms, and experimental methodologies.
* Explore advanced techniques in areas such as natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, generative AI, reinforcement learning, and large language models (LLMs), depending on project requirements.
* Review academic papers, technical publications, open-source developments, and industry research to identify relevant innovations.
* Formulate research questions, develop hypotheses, and design experiments to evaluate potential AI solutions.
* Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate research findings.
* Collect, preprocess, analyze, and evaluate datasets to support model development and experimentation.
* Train, fine-tune, benchmark, and optimize machine learning models using appropriate datasets and evaluation methods.
* Assess model accuracy, robustness, efficiency, scalability, and generalization performance.
* Investigate new approaches to improve model performance, computational efficiency, and resource utilization.
* Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to translate research outcomes into practical AI applications.
* Develop reproducible experiments, maintain research documentation, and communicate findings through technical reports and presentations.
* Identify opportunities to apply AI technologies to business challenges, automation, decision support, and intelligent product development.
* Evaluate the limitations, reliability, fairness, explainability, and potential risks of AI systems.
* Apply responsible AI principles, data privacy practices, and appropriate safeguards throughout research and development.
* Contribute to the development of AI research roadmaps, technical strategies, and innovation initiatives.
* Stay updated on advances in machine learning architectures, training methods, evaluation frameworks, and AI infrastructure.
* Present research findings and recommendations to technical teams, management, and other stakeholders.
* Support intellectual property development, technical publications, and research collaborations where appropriate.
* Continuously improve research workflows, experimental methods, and AI development practices.
### ✅ Requirements
* Proven experience in AI research, machine learning, deep learning, data science, or a related technical field.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
* A PhD or equivalent research experience will be an advantage for research-intensive positions.
* Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with relevant AI and scientific computing libraries.
* Practical experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
* Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, optimization techniques, and model evaluation.
* Experience designing experiments, analyzing results, and validating research hypotheses.
* Familiarity with deep learning architectures, neural networks, and modern AI methodologies.
* Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and performance optimization.
* Experience with NLP, computer vision, generative AI, LLMs, or another relevant AI specialization will be advantageous.
* Ability to critically evaluate research papers and translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations.
* Strong mathematical and analytical foundations, including probability, statistics, linear algebra, and calculus.
* Familiarity with version control, reproducible research practices, and collaborative development workflows.
* Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work on complex, open-ended challenges.
* Excellent technical writing, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Relevant research publications, open-source contributions, technical projects, or a strong research portfolio will be highly advantageous.
