Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced AI Engineer to join our bench of elite embedded engineers. In this role, you will be deployed within a client's engineering team to design, build, and scale AI-powered systems and products. You will work alongside senior engineering leadership at top-tier global companies, solving complex, high-impact problems using cutting-edge AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop production-grade AI solutions including LLM-powered applications, intelligent agents, and automation pipelines
• Architect and implement end-to-end AI workflows from data ingestion to model serving
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise products and platforms
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions within client teams
• Stay current with advancements in AI/ML research and apply them to real-world use cases
• Optimize AI systems for scalability, reliability, and performance in production environments
Requirements
• Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Experience: 8+ years in software/AI engineering, with at least 4 years focused on AI/ML systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Hugging Face, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and agentic systems
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps practices
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated experience building or shipping AI-powered products, either as a founder, core contributor, or key technical member of a product team
• Exceptional communication skills, you will represent CodeThread within high-caliber client environments
• Ability to independently own and deliver complex technical work with minimal supervision
