Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional senior leader to take charge of our Competitive Intelligence & Pre-Sales function, a pivotal role in our organization's strategic growth. This leader will combine market intelligence expertise with pre-sales excellence, ensuring we stay ahead of the competition and accelerate revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and scaling CI programs, with a strong background in pre-sales, technical sales, or strategy consulting.
Responsibilities
Lead CI strategy, establishing frameworks for intelligence gathering and activation.
Drive pre-sales excellence with scalable methodologies and best practices.
Partner with C-suite executives, providing actionable competitive insights.
Build and mentor competitive intelligence and pre-sales teams.
Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, developing comprehensive profiles.
Create battlecards and enablement materials for sales teams.
Establish key performance indicators for competitive intelligence.
Provide technical sales support for high-value opportunities.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align capabilities with market demands.
Optimize sales effectiveness, tracking and improving key metrics.
Qualifications
12-18 years of progressive experience in CI, pre-sales, technical sales, or strategy consulting.
5+ years of senior leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to build and scale CI programs and pre-sales operations.
Executive presence with C-level presentation experience.
Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred).
Deep technical acumen in enterprise software, cloud technologies, or industry solutions.
Strategic thinking and analytical expertise with BI tools, CRM, and data analysis.
Exceptional communication skills, translating technical concepts into business value.
Competitive intelligence expertise, market research, and strategic positioning skills.
Mastery of pre-sales techniques, solution selling, and consultative selling approaches.
