Role Description The Senior PHP Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust PHP-based web applications and backend services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and secure code, integrating front-end and back-end components, and optimizing application performance and scalability. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality software releases. The Senior PHP Programmer also participates in code reviews, mentors junior developers, and contributes to improving development standards and practices.
Qualifications
Strong Back-End Web Development skills, including PHP frameworks and API integration.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Experience with Front-End Development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related libraries.
Proficiency in general Software Development and Programming concepts, including debugging and testing.
Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL), query optimization, and data modeling.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver projects within deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in a senior or lead developer role and mentoring team members is an advantage.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
