Role Description The Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Hubli-Dharwad. This role involves supervising daily construction activities, coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and workers, and ensuring work is executed according to structural designs, specifications, and safety regulations. The Site Engineer will monitor quality control on materials and workmanship, maintain site documentation, and report progress and issues to project management. Responsibilities also include resolving technical queries on site, supporting project planning and scheduling, and facilitating clear communication among all stakeholders to keep the project on track.
Qualifications
Strong on-site supervision skills with experience managing day-to-day construction activities and site coordination.
Effective communication abilities to interact with project teams, contractors, clients, and workers clearly and professionally.
Quality control expertise, including inspection of materials, work processes, and adherence to standards and safety norms.
Knowledge of structural engineering concepts and their application in civil construction projects.
Background as a civil engineer or related discipline, with practical experience on construction sites.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, basic project scheduling, and reporting tools.
Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and maintain high ethical and safety standards.
