Role Description The Project Engineer / Senior Engineer is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing and coordinating real estate development and property-related projects. On a day-to-day basis, this role includes reviewing project designs and plans, monitoring timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to address technical issues, prepare reports, and recommend solutions that support project objectives. Additional responsibilities may include assessing property conditions, supporting due diligence activities, and contributing technical input to proposals and client communications.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in engineering roles related to construction, real estate development, or property management, with the ability to oversee technical aspects of projects.
Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, and budget monitoring, including the use of relevant project management tools and software.
Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and local regulatory requirements applicable to residential and commercial properties.
Proficiency in technical documentation, report writing, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related field) or equivalent professional experience; professional certification or licensure is an advantage.
Experience in the Dubai real estate or construction market is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with local practices and regulations.
