Content & Community Growth Specialist

About the Role
We're looking for a creative, proactive and curious person to help grow our mobile apps through content, social media and creator partnerships.
You'll work directly with our founders to turn ideas, product features and interesting trends into content that people want to watch, read and share. From creating social posts and short-form videos to reaching out to influencers and running campaigns, you'll have plenty of room to experiment and make an impact.
We're a small, international team, so we're looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys trying new things and can turn ideas into action without needing constant direction.
You don't need years of marketing experience. We're more interested in your creativity, social media instincts and ability to get things done.
What You'll Do
Create content: Develop and publish engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, 小紅書, Threads, YouTube, X and LinkedIn.
Spot opportunities: Keep up with social media trends, find interesting angles and turn them into timely, creative content.
Build creator relationships: Research and connect with relevant influencers, creators and communities to explore collaborations and partnerships.
Run campaigns: Help plan and execute creative campaigns around product launches, new features and other opportunities.
Grow our audience: Engage with users, build relationships with communities and find ways to get more people interested in our apps.
Experiment and improve: Try different content formats and approaches, learn from the results and double down on what works.
Explore international markets: Help us connect with audiences in English-speaking markets, with opportunities to develop content for Chinese- and Japanese-speaking audiences.
What We're Looking For
A creative thinker who enjoys coming up with ideas and telling stories.
Someone who is proactive, resourceful and comfortable working independently.
A natural understanding of social media and what makes content engaging and shareable.
The ability to create content yourself, particularly social posts and short-form videos.
Confidence in reaching out to people, building relationships and exploring collaborations.
Good written and spoken English. Chinese and/or Japanese skills are a plus.
An interest in mobile apps, technology, startups or digital products.
Previous experience in content creation, social media or influencer marketing is helpful, but not essential if you can demonstrate your skills through personal projects, a portfolio or your own social channels.
