Software Engineer (Java / Angular)

As a Software Engineer, you will join a dynamic development team and contribute to the design, development and enhancement of business-critical applications. You will work on both backend and frontend components, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver high quality solutions aligned with business needs.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and enhance backend services using Java 21 and Spring Boot
Design, develop and maintain web application features using Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
Translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions
Participate in meetings with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, priorities and delivery timelines
Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams and fellow developers
Contribute to application maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
Proactively identify, communicate and resolve technical issues and risks
Ensure compliance with development standards, best practices and quality requirements
Your Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
Solid experience in software development using Java and Spring Boot
Experience with modern frontend technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong team collaboration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and Jenkins is considered an asset
Fluent in English & French (written and spoken)
Willingness to work on-site and engage closely with business and technical stakeholders
