Kumar Ashwani & Associates is an established, ISO 9001:2015 certified Chartered Accountancy firm with offices across North India, providing services in GST, Income Tax, Audit, ROC compliance, and MIS / Virtual CFO. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team at our Jalandhar office.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts for multiple clients in Tally Prime and other accounting software
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle GST reconciliations
Calculate TDS, file TDS returns and issue TDS certificates
Prepare bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny and party-wise reconciliations
Assist in finalisation of accounts and preparation of financial statements
Support Income Tax return filing and tax audit work
Prepare MIS reports and summaries for clients in MS Excel
Coordinate with clients for data, documents and query resolution
Assist the audit team during statutory and internal audits
Requirements
B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter or CMA Inter will be an added advantage)
3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a CA firm
Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
Hands-on experience with GST and TDS compliance
Good understanding of accounting principles and finalisation of accounts
Ability to handle multiple clients and meet deadlines
Good communication skills.
