Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer

Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer to support electrical design, engineering development, testing, inspection, and quality assurance activities. The role involves evaluating electrical systems and components, reviewing technical specifications, conducting performance assessments, and ensuring that products and processes meet established quality, safety, and reliability requirements.
The Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer will assist with electrical testing, design verification, troubleshooting, and quality control procedures. Responsibilities include analyzing technical drawings, identifying electrical or manufacturing defects, investigating quality issues, documenting test results, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves developing inspection procedures, maintaining quality records, preparing technical reports, and monitoring key quality indicators to support continuous improvement.
The position requires close collaboration with engineering, production, procurement, maintenance, and supplier teams to resolve technical concerns and improve product performance. The successful candidate will help evaluate engineering changes, verify compliance with applicable standards, support internal audits, and implement improvements to testing methods and quality management processes. The role also emphasizes accurate documentation, effective problem-solving, operational efficiency, and consistent delivery of reliable electrical products and systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, testing methods, and quality assurance practices.
Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, measurement techniques, inspection procedures, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with quality management systems, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to analyze technical data, investigate defects, and identify practical engineering or quality solutions.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software, testing applications, and data analysis tools; familiarity with AutoCAD, MATLAB, or simulation software is advantageous.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prepare accurate inspection reports, test records, technical specifications, and quality documentation.
Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to engineering standards, product quality, safety, and technical integrity.
