Urban Suites is a 432-room serviced-residence property in Jaipur, located approximately five minutes from the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC). With one of the city's largest room inventories, the property is well positioned to cater to conventions, international groups, series movements, weddings, MICE, corporate gatherings and large-scale group requirements.
The Role
We are looking for a commercially driven and market-oriented Sales Manager to develop Jaipur business through the Delhi NCR feeder market.
Based at the Delhi NCR Regional Sales Office, the candidate will be responsible for building and activating relationships across the travel-trade, wholesale, weddings and MICE segments, with a clear focus on generating room nights and revenue for Urban Suites, Jaipur.
This is a specialist market-sales role for someone who understands the Delhi–Jaipur business circuit and has an established network of travel agents, wholesalers, DMCs, tour operators, MICE agencies and wedding planners handling Jaipur requirements.
The role demands a proactive sales professional who can identify high-volume opportunities, develop new accounts, strengthen existing relationships and convert enquiries into profitable business.
Key Responsibilities
Wholesale & Travel Trade
Develop business through Delhi NCR-based travel agents, wholesalers, tour operators, DMCs and other relevant trade partners handling Jaipur.
Identify, acquire and activate new accounts while strengthening relationships with existing business partners.
Generate FIT, wholesale, group and series business to drive room-night production.
Build a strong pipeline of upcoming group movements and large-volume accommodation requirements.
Weddings, MICE & Large Groups
Develop business from wedding planners, event management companies, MICE agencies, corporate event organisers and conference planners.
Identify opportunities for conventions, international groups, weddings, residential conferences, series movements and other large-scale events.
Position Urban Suites as a preferred accommodation partner for high-volume room requirements and multi-day events.
Drive enquiries, site inspections, proposals, negotiations and follow-ups through to confirmed business.
Market Development & Account Management
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Delhi–Jaipur travel and business ecosystem, including key agencies, decision-makers and business influencers.
Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings and market visits across Delhi NCR.
Develop new accounts independently while maximising business potential from existing relationships.
Track upcoming events, seasonal demand, group movements and opportunities that can generate incremental business for Jaipur.
Revenue Generation & Internal Coordination
Achieve agreed room-night and revenue targets through effective prospecting, account management and business conversion.
Maintain an active sales pipeline, account production records, forecasts and regular sales reports.
Work closely with the Jaipur property team and the internal Revenue, Reservations and Operations teams to ensure timely responses, commercially viable proposals and seamless business delivery.
Coordinate with BluSalzz's corporate Business Development & Sales function to align market activities with property objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
4–7 years of experience in hotel sales, hospitality, travel trade or destination sales.
Established relationships within the Delhi NCR travel-trade and business ecosystem.
Direct experience generating business for Jaipur, particularly across wholesale, weddings and MICE.
A proven track record in room-night generation, group business and large-volume accommodation requirements.
Experience working with travel agents, wholesalers, DMCs, tour operators, MICE agencies and wedding planners.
Strong account acquisition, relationship management, negotiation and business-conversion skills.
Commercial understanding of group requirements, event-led demand and high-volume business opportunities.
Ability to independently develop accounts and generate new business rather than rely solely on an inherited portfolio.
Willingness to undertake regular field sales, client meetings and market visits across Delhi NCR.
Ability to work effectively with corporate and property-level teams to achieve business objectives.
