Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Node.js Backend Developer with 5-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale backend solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving technical design, solution architecture, and implementation of scalable and high-performance applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
The role requires strong expertise in backend development, API design, cloud-native architectures, system integrations, and modern engineering practices. As a Level 9 professional, the candidate is expected to provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
Roles And Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable backend services and enterprise applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs.
Drive technical discussions and provide technology recommendations aligned with project and organizational objectives.
Own end-to-end delivery of backend components, ensuring adherence to quality, performance, and security standards.
Define and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices across the team.
Review code, perform technical audits, and ensure compliance with architectural standards and engineering excellence practices.
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, DevOps teams, and external stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical production issues and escalations.
Design and implement reusable frameworks, components, and services to improve development efficiency.
Mentor junior developers and senior analysts, providing technical guidance and fostering team capability growth.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to application performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Contribute to estimation, sprint planning, risk identification, and release management activities.
Ensure implementation of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and observability best practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve business outcomes.
Support presales activities, solution discussions, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept implementations where required.
