AIS has three business lines, dedicated to supporting our groupwide customers:
Helicopter Technical Operations supporting Airbus Helicopters;
Aircrew Assistance supporting Airbus Helicopters and ATR;
Airplane Operations supporting Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence and Space, ATR, Satair;

In this environment we are looking for a Solutions Delivery Manager to join our team. The selected candidate will support the Satair’s team in charge of IMS Solutions Delivery EMEA and Americas, and will be deployed in Bordeaux, France at the earliest possible start date.
Reporting to the AIS Head of Airplane business line and Satair’s Head of Solutions Delivery EMEA and Americas you will be working with our colleagues worldwide. You will be based off-site at one of our external Airline and MRO customers, being responsible for the lifecycle of complex Managed Solutions.
As a Solutions Delivery Manager, you are the bridge between the Solutions customers and Satair’s internal functions, ensuring operational performance in-line with contractual standards. You have the opportunity to lead continuous improvement initiatives that ensure seamless interaction between internal and customer operations whilst gaining priceless experience throughout the value chain.

Primary responsibilities
The selected candidate will join Airbus International Services (AIS) and will support Satair Customer in Bordeaux during the full duration of the mission. As a consequence, he/she will work in close cooperation with Satair Solution Delivery team in Hamburg.
Manage operations according to contract
Lead the local team delivering the IMS service
Manage day-to-day IMS service operations
Manage integration within the customers operations and ensure appropriate information flow throughout the Satair organisation & supply chain
Provide high quality responses related to any customer or internal requests
Generate and Support the ramp up plan for programme start or new fleet integration
Provide inputs to and monitor operational KPIs
Manage related interfaces
Perform customer stakeholder management and act as antenna for any kind of information that should be brought back into the internal organisation.
Ensure close cooperation with the internal Satair functions
Ensure close cooperation with the internal Airbus functions, in particular the CSD & Field Service community.
Ensure best practice exchange with the other customer teams and support in bottleneck situations.
Ensure cost efficiency
Provide high quality input for internal budgeting such as yearly AOP and Forecasts as required.
Manage/support any relevant continuous improvement activities.

Professional skills
Equipped with a degree in Engineering, Supply chain or business administration (or similar) paired with professional experience in the the aviation aftermarket (or a comparable role), we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset
8+ years of work experience, preferably in the aviation aftermarket
Knowledge of SAP (experience of SD Module- AP1 will be a plus) and Spec2000
Able to analyse large data packages. Skywise or programming knowledge will be a plus
Knowledge of Basic Business Finance
English & French language skills at negotiation level
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Effective organisational and planning skills
High degree of aviation business understanding specifically in the area of spares support, supply chain management and A/C maintenance
Technical and process oriented background with the ability to understand and interpret technical documentation and drawings
Flexible, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and successfully deal with unexpected situations / issues
Strong knowledge of data analysing applications such as Microsoft Excel
