ABOUT THE POSITION
We’re seeking a Director of Product Management to lead and grow ID Dataweb’s product management function. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this leader will partner with the executive team on product strategy and roadmap direction, then translate that strategy into disciplined execution across the platform, data and analytics, AI, integrations, and the admin console.
This is a hands-on people leadership role for someone who can move fluidly between strategy and execution. You will manage and develop a team of Product Managers, resolve priorities and dependencies across interrelated roadmaps, and drive tight alignment across Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Customer Marketing from product definition through launch and adoption.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Strategy & Roadmap Leadership
Partner with the executive team and Chief Operating Officer on overall product strategy and roadmap direction, bringing a grounded view of the platform, customers, market, and competitive landscape.
Translate agreed strategy into a coherent, prioritized, and executable roadmap across the core platform and integrations, data and analytics, AI/ML, and the admin console.
Resolve cross-roadmap tradeoffs, sequencing decisions, and dependencies to ensure the product portfolio advances as one integrated platform.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage, coach, and develop the Product Management team, including the Senior Product Manager for Platform & Third-Party Integrations, the Senior Product Manager for Data, Analytics & AI, and the Product Manager for the admin console.
Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular feedback, and develop the team’s product management capabilities.
Own hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the Product Management team as the organization grows.
Cross-Functional Execution
Drive alignment across Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing so roadmap decisions translate into coordinated development, launch readiness, enablement, and go-to-market execution.
Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Customer Marketing, and engage directly with customers, to understand current deployments, desired future states, and recurring needs across the customer base.
Stay close enough to the detail across each roadmap to remove obstacles, improve decisions, and support Product Managers without taking over day-to-day ownership.
Product Operating Model
Build and continuously improve how the Product Management team operates, including prioritization frameworks, roadmap planning cadence, product discovery, decision-making, and communication across the company.
Ensure product priorities are informed by customer insight, market dynamics, platform performance, technical realities, and measurable business outcomes.
Communicate product strategy, roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to executive leadership and go-to-market teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years directly managing Product Managers.
A track record of owning product strategy across multiple interdependent roadmaps or teams, rather than a single product line.
Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and developing Product Managers.
The ability to operate effectively at both the strategic level and the product-detail level, including executive communication, technical tradeoffs, and product requirements.
Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally with a platform that includes third-party integrations, data and analytics capabilities, or an administrative and configuration experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting product strategy and roadmap decisions to executive leadership.
Experience in identity security, identity verification, identity threats, fraud and risk, authentication, or another cybersecurity- or compliance-adjacent domain is a plus.
Experience building or scaling a Product Management organization from a small team is a plus.
