Role Description The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support for Aranyakaa Farms’ operations, contracts, and compliance activities in a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements related to land acquisition, leasing, hospitality services, vendor relationships, and customer engagements. The role involves identifying and mitigating legal risks, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations, and advising management on legal implications of business decisions. The Legal Counsel will prepare and maintain legal documentation, support dispute resolution processes, and coordinate with external legal advisors when needed. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance, and sales is essential to align legal guidance with business objectives and safeguard the company’s interests.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law, including relevant statutes and regulations applicable to real estate, hospitality, and commercial operations.
Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with experience structuring, reviewing, and improving agreements to protect organizational interests.
Capability in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting contracts, notices, policies, and internal guidelines with attention to detail.
Experience identifying and addressing Legal Issues, including risk assessment, compliance matters, and dispute resolution strategies.
Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to leadership and internal stakeholders, supporting sound business decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; LL.M or specialization in corporate or property law is an advantage.
Active license to practice law and prior experience as in-house counsel or in a law firm handling corporate or real estate matters.
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in accessible terms.
High level of integrity, sound judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
