National Jobsite Catering provides on-site meal programs for large-scale construction and industrial projects across the United States. We specialize in serving data centers, semiconductor facilities, energy sites, and major infrastructure builds, particularly in rural and semi-rural areas with limited food options. We deliver hot lunch programs with custom menus designed for construction crews, handling kitchen setup, staffing, and cleanup for sites with 200 to 5,000+ workers. By reducing labor turnover and minimizing time spent traveling off-site for meals, National Jobsite Catering helps project leaders improve productivity and worker retention. We partners with general contractors, construction managers, and owner representatives on projects in construction, pre-construction, and planning stages.
Role Description The Site Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of on-site catering services across assigned project locations. This position coordinates daily operations, including scheduling service times, confirming head counts, and ensuring that equipment, menus, and staff are aligned with each site’s requirements. The Site Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication with general contractors and site leaders, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, enforcing safety and quality standards, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize logistics and service efficiency. While the role is remote, occasional travel to job sites may be required for site assessments, client meetings, and operational audits. Role requires up to 75% travel.
Qualifications
Experience in site, project, or operations management, preferably in construction, industrial services, food service, or logistics.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, including scheduling, resource planning, and multitasking across multiple projects.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for working with clients, internal teams, and site leadership.
Ability to analyze site needs and operational data to improve efficiency, worker satisfaction, and service quality.
Comfort with remote work tools and digital systems for tracking projects, documenting processes, and reporting results.
Knowledge of basic safety, compliance, and quality standards in construction or food service settings is highly beneficial.
Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under time constraints and changing site conditions.
High level of reliability and accountability, with a focus on delivering consistent service and supporting workforce retention.
Prior experience collaborating with general contractors, construction managers, or owner representatives is a plus.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, construction management, hospitality, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
