Role Description The Online English Teacher will deliver live, interactive English lessons to Chinese students in a virtual classroom environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans that align with curriculum guidelines, teaching speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, and using digital tools to engage learners of various ages and proficiency levels. The teacher will provide regular feedback, assess student progress, and adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs. Additional tasks may include maintaining accurate student records, communicating with parents or school coordinators as needed, and participating in occasional training sessions to enhance teaching practices. This is a remote role conducted entirely online; specific schedule and employment type (part-time or full-time) will be determined based on the assignment and candidate availability.
Qualifications
Strong English language proficiency, with excellent skills in speaking, reading, and writing.
Experience or training in teaching English as a second/foreign language, including lesson planning and classroom management.
Ability to use online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital learning materials effectively.
Clear communication skills, patience, and an engaging, student-centered teaching style.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
