Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Manager role based in the Pune Division. The Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and ensuring correct product display of safety equipment. The role includes supervising store staff, assigning tasks, and supporting team development to ensure consistent customer service. The Store Manager will handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and promote products that meet customer needs, while maintaining store cleanliness, safety standards, and adherence to company processes. The position also involves monitoring sales performance, managing cash and billing procedures, implementing loss prevention measures, and preparing regular reports for management.
Qualifications
Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Store Management experience, with capability to oversee daily operations, inventory, and staff supervision in a retail or similar environment.
Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and team members, and for handling escalations professionally.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage, manage stock discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Relevant experience in retail, distribution, or safety equipment sectors; familiarity with industrial safety products is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site full-time in Pune Division, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (POS systems, inventory software, MS Office) and numerical aptitude for billing and reporting.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
