Role Description The Firmware Engineer will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for integrated counter-drone systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and optimizing firmware for ARM-based platforms, debugging and testing embedded code, and collaborating with hardware and electrical engineering teams to ensure reliable system integration. The role involves working with low-level interfaces, sensors, communication protocols, and real-time control logic, as well as documenting designs, conducting code reviews, and supporting system validation and field testing. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area.
Qualifications
Strong skills in embedded software and firmware development, including experience with C/C++ or similar languages and real-time systems.
Proficiency in ARM architecture, microcontroller-based systems, and low-level hardware interfacing.
Hands-on experience with debugging tools, techniques, and workflows for embedded systems.
Foundational knowledge in electrical engineering concepts relevant to embedded hardware and system integration.
Solid software development practices, including version control (e.g., Git), documentation, and code review participation.
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional engineering teams and communicate technical information clearly.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with aerospace, defense, robotics, or security systems, and familiarity with safety and reliability standards, is an advantage.
