Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer – Systems Engineering role based in Mumbai. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend and systems-level software that supports Inspira Global’s diverse business operations and technology platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing robust and scalable services, writing clean and efficient code, integrating APIs and internal systems, and troubleshooting performance or reliability issues. The Software Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture, and ensure high standards of security, quality, and maintainability. The role may also involve creating technical documentation, participating in code reviews, and supporting deployment and monitoring processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and software engineering principles.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (such as Java, C++, C#, Python, or Go).
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration with databases or external systems.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns, and ability to apply them to build modular, maintainable systems.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows.
Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, and familiarity with performance optimization and scalability considerations.
Ability to analyze complex technical problems, propose solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfort working in an on-site team environment in Mumbai and collaborating across multiple business units and domains.
Experience in systems engineering, distributed systems, or cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
