About Greymont Advisors
Greymont Advisors is a buy-side M&A advisory firm. We work for private equity firms and strategic acquirers. Our job is to find founder-owned and family-owned companies in the lower middle market that aren't for sale yet, and prepare them for the right buyer.
The program
The Spring 2027 Analyst Program runs for 14 weeks, from January 18 to May 7, entirely remote on Microsoft Teams.
Analyst Bootcamp (7 weeks, January to mid-March)
One 90-minute live session a week, about 6–8 hours a week in total
Eleven modules from Greymont's own sourcing workbook: how private equity works, reading a buyer's thesis, market mapping, screening, small-business financials and adjusted EBITDA, owner outreach, discovery calls, and packaging an opportunity for a buyer
Ends with a capstone presentation in Week 7. Analysts who score 80% or higher across the Bootcamp move on to live sourcing.
Live Sourcing (7 weeks, after spring break to early May)
Work in pairs, each pair supervised by a Greymont partner, on active buyer mandates
Map and screen companies, reach out to owners, and qualify opportunities for buyers
Weekly 30-minute pipeline stand-up, about 10–12 hours a week in total
What you get
Real buy-side sourcing experience on live mandates
The Greymont Analyst Certificate, awarded in May
Academic credit, coordinated with your school
A sourcing bonus for each qualified owner you bring in

Curious about how small businesses actually work
Comfortable speaking with business owners professionally
Able to commit the full 14 weeks
