The Role
The Junior Strategic Transformation Associate supports the successful delivery of business, digital, operational, and organizational transformation initiatives. Working alongside experienced consultants and change practitioners, you will contribute research, analysis, stakeholder engagement, change enablement materials, and client-ready deliverables that help organizations adopt new ways of working and realize measurable business outcomes. This role is ideal for an early-career professional seeking to build a career in consulting, organizational change, transformation, and business improvement.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Conduct current-state research and analysis across business processes, operating models, organizational structures, stakeholder groups, performance data, and client documentation.
Translate interviews, workshops, meetings, and project information into clear findings, practical insights, and polished client-ready outputs.
Support change impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, readiness assessments, and identification of adoption risks or resistance.
Prepare communications, presentations, phase reports, workshop materials, FAQs, user guides, playbooks, training materials, and other enablement content aligned with PACE standards.
Participate actively in stakeholder interviews, working sessions, workshops, and client meetings, capturing decisions, commitments, risks, and follow-up actions accurately.
Support the development and execution of change, engagement, communication, training, and reinforcement plans across assigned workstreams.
Maintain current documentation, action logs, milestone trackers, adoption measures, stakeholder feedback, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Monitor feedback and adoption indicators, identify emerging gaps, and escalate concerns before delivery or adoption targets are missed.
Build trust with client stakeholders through professionalism, responsiveness, accurate work, and reliable follow-through.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and discrete workstreams, delivering on time and asking for context or support early when needed.
What Success Looks Like
High-quality analysis and client materials are accurate, well structured, and require minimal substantive rework.
Assigned deliverables are completed on or before agreed deadlines and meet PACE's quality standards.
Change impacts, stakeholder concerns, resistance risks, and delivery issues are identified, documented, and escalated early.
Stakeholder engagement, enablement, and adoption activities are well organized and executed with dependable follow-through.
Client and internal team members experience you as professional, curious, organized, responsive, and increasingly independent.
You demonstrate measurable growth in consulting judgement, change management, analysis, communication, and client delivery.
What We're Looking For
Approximately 1-3 years of experience in consulting, change management, business analysis, project coordination, communications, organizational development, transformation, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to separate relevant information from noise and turn findings into practical outputs.
Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
Comfort working with clients and stakeholders at different levels of an organization.
Initiative and resourcefulness, with the judgement to act independently while escalating risks and uncertainty early.
Adaptability and resilience in fast-moving, ambiguous, and evolving client environments.
A high standard of integrity, discretion, and accountability.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
Change management training or certification, exposure to Prosci or ADKAR, process improvement, project management, digital transformation, AI adoption, or data visualization is an asset.
