Mechanical Design Engineer – MEP

About the Role
AASNAA Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting design for building services projects.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling mechanical design and engineering activities and coordinating with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Design and engineering of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems for building projects.
Prepare design calculations, layouts, schematics and technical documentation.
Develop and review mechanical drawings and coordinate with other disciplines.
Perform HVAC system design, equipment selection and load calculations.
Design plumbing and fire protection systems in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other MEP disciplines.
Prepare and review BOQs, specifications and technical submissions.
Review drawings and designs prepared by junior engineers.
Ensure designs comply with applicable international standards, codes and client requirements.
Support project teams in resolving design and coordination issues.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical / MEP Design.
Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting design.
Experience working on building services / MEP consultancy projects.
Good knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
Saudi Arabia / GCC project experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage design deliverables within project timelines.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Experience with BIM-based projects will be an advantage.
Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
