Feature Modeling Intern, DreamWorks Animation, Spring 2027

Spring 2027 Feature Modeling Internship:

Time Commitment: Part-Time (24 hours per week required)
Format: In Person
Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?”
Works closely with other modelers.
Responsible for creating assets/models.
Works well with others and fosters a good working atmosphere.
Troubleshoots creative and technical issues as they arise.
Collaborates with other departments for timely integration of elements into assigned shots.
Manages individual shot task load based on the schedule to meet timelines.
Attends dailies, modeling launches and any other team or department meetings as required.
Potential to participate in the testing of new technologies as needed.
Basic Qualifications: “What do I need to have in order to do this job?”
Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or being a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date).
Passion for working as part of a modeling team in feature animation.
Desire to learn all aspects of the modeling pipeline.
Curiosity and teamwork.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be willing to work in Glendale, California.
Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Some understanding of the modeling process, including topology and storytelling through shape and form.
Hourly Rate: $18.47
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
